Well, I have lost 4.8 pounds. Not a great big loss yet, but a loss. So far, so good. It is a great many vegetables more than we normally eat, so I know it really is better for both of us in the long haul.

Family and work have kept me hopping! I will be so glad to see this year pass. It has been a difficult year in so many parts of our lives.The good news is that I have a new wonderful stove in my kitchen, thanks to the generous present of my daughter & SIL for Christmas, and I am having fun cooking & baking! I've got the Mason Dixon book on loan from our library. Would you believe there are only two copies listed in the whole Georgia library system???? My niece, Angela, is getting married in August, and I have been getting together a stash. The front cloth is the lighthouse pattern from Knitwits_Heaven. I love this pattern!
